thank you for sharing your experience with Wealthy Affiliate and online marketing in general.
I absolutely agree that it is much cheaper to start an online business than a traditional “offline” business.
You really don’t need much to get started.
What you really need is the proper knowledge.
That’s where many people fail because there are too many “gurus” out there who don’t tell their following the truth.
There is no “money button” to make money fast.
People need to work for it.
Like everything else, it is difficult in the beginning.
But once you know how this works you only need to rinse and repeat.
Build up a few sites and they will bring you passive income for a long time (once you have done your work).
I started with affiliate marketing about 5 years ago but was failing for almost 3 years.
Then I came across Wealthy Affiliate (about 2 years ago) and that turned everything around.

I have been looking for ways to make money online at home. I found WA a couple weeks ago and I really liked what I read. But there are so many scams out there so I googled for some results and reviews and that is where I found your website.
I have just joined WA and I think it is the best decision of my life. The amount of lessons and tools you get is insane.
I hope in 12 months I will be able to earn a full-time income and be my own boss.
Do you think it is possible to earn 2-3 thousand / month in a year because I would like to work for myself and not for someone else?

Congratulations for making that first step.
There are many more steps to come but you have set something in motion that can free you from working for someone else.
It is absolutely possible to make that kind of money within the first year.
You have to go through the whole training and take action.
Always ask if something is unclear. There are so many helpful and experienced guys at Wealthy Affiliate (I am there every day, too).
The first few months are the hardest!
Since this is not a “get rich quick” scheme, you actually have to put in some work before you see results.
In the first weeks or months, you won’t make much money (if any at all).
That’s where the successful and not successful online marketers get separated.
Do you have what it takes to keep on working even if you don’t make money immediately?
Trust in the system and keep working.
Success will come to you, too.
Only those who give up fail!

I have stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate two weeks ago but I was afraid to join.
I thought that it might be just another scam.
After reading your article I have joined for free and it really bombed me with its professional services.
I have finished my degree at the University two years ago.
I do not remember learning so much valuable stuff in such a short time like what I already have learned at Wealthy Affiliate.
I could actually make a website in just 2 days.
Now I have two websites, and I am trying to develop them.
In general, I think online marketing is one of the best things you can do, if not the best entrepreneur opportunity out there.
I mean, even if you fail once you still can get up easily, and you only need to succeed once to create a free life for yourself.

I would recommend focusing on one website first.
If you are new to this, you might get overwhelmed with two or more sites quickly.
It is best to build up and develop one site until it makes you money.
Once that is achieved, you can move on to the next site, while your first site keeps growing and bringing in more and more money.
Do that over and over again and there is no limit to what you can earn.
It won’t happen over night.
But if you don’t give up, follow the training and take action, you will get there!

I am very excited about it however the Premium membership is too expensive for me this year!! You talk about ‘WA referrals’ to be able to be a premium member for free the first year?
